“Seven Nights of International Grape & Wine with Mark Shipway” continues Thursday January 28 at 7:30 pm on Zoom. Mark will introduce wine lovers to Pinot Noir - one of the most widely planted international red grape varieties in the world! Successfully planted and grown in many regions around the world known it is known as the ‘heartbreak grape” because it is a triple threat – finicky, fussy and doesn’t like wet feet. Challenging and yet coveted, here is what you need to know about Pinot Noir!
Mark will share key insights on wines of Pinot Noir where grown successfully whether continental Europe, the Americas, Australia or South Africa. Discover the unique characteristics of the vines, leaves, grape bunches of the classic grape varieties and the tasting notes that differentiate Burgundy to Oregon, New Zealand to Argentina. We’ll also discover some great value for your pocket book and your cellar.
Thursday evening sessions on Zoom start at 7:30 pm. Each session has a learning and interactive tasting component lasting 1.5 hours in length.
