Tuscany & More
Mar 18, 2021
Tuscany is perhaps one of the most visited and arguably the most famous wine region in all of Italy. With Chianti Classico in the north and Brunello di Montalcino to the south, this is an area rich in vinous and gastronomic history! It is the natural home of Sangiovese based wines produced in a myriad of styles. It is also home to Florence and Siena, noted foodie destinations and home to the Antinori family who helped establish the reputation of such international grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on the world stage. These ‘Super Tuscans’ rose to fame for being of outstanding quality, prestigious and recognised as being amongst the global stylistic benchmarks amongst their peers. Tuscany continues to amaze and evolve.
"Tuscany & More" is an online wine class comprising a comprehensive educational presentation followed by an interactive tasting component focusing on the key grapes and wine appellations of this central region considered the heart of Italy: Tuscany, Umbria, the Marche, Abruzzo and Lazio.
