Righteous Rhône Valley Reds
May 20th 2021
The Rhône Valley might not be at the top of the most famous list but it is a region of great history, quality and value. Most Rhone reds are based on Syrah in the north and Grenache in the south. The south features blended reds often including Mourvedre or one of the 18 approved grape varieties.
Session
Join us Thursday May 20th at 4:30 pm or 7:30 pm (PST) on Zoom for “Righteous Rhône Valley Reds!” Join Good Wine Gal, Barb Wild and Vancouver's top wine educator, Mark Shipway to learn about and enjoy white wines of Italy. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. A recommended list of wine and cheeses is provided.
Outline
In this online zoom session, Mark leads us through a comprehensive educational presentation. Hear the ‘what and why’ of style, quality, taste and above all, price. The presentation is followed by an interactive tasting component where we discuss the wine in our glass.
