April 8th 2021
Northwest Italy - Is this Italy’s most famous region for top quality red wine? Heard about Barolo and Barbaresco? Have you tasted Barbera or Dolcetto? Get the answers to these questions and more with Mark Shipway during our online wine session – Barolo & Beyond. All you have to do is reserve your seat, bring up a bottle, grab a glass, order some cheese and get ready to explore the world of wine from the comfort of home thanks to the power of Zoom.
Join us Thursday April 8th at 4:30 pm or 7:30 pm (PST) on Zoom for “Barolo & Beyond!” Join Good Wine Gal, Barb Wild and Vancouver's top wine educator, Mark Shipway to learn about and enjoy red wines of Northwest Italy. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. A recommended list of wine and cheeses is provided.
In this online zoom session, Mark leads us through a comprehensive educational presentation about the Northwestern region of Italy. Discover northwestern Italy and hear the ‘what and why’ of style, quality, taste and above all, price. The presentation is followed by an interactive tasting component where we discuss the wine in our glass.
