Not Only Amarone
Nov 5, 2020
The Veneto is one of Italy's most prolific producers of wine. It's a land of history and of wines blended to perfection. Sometimes referred to as Tre-Venezia, it’s the world famous home to Valpolicella and big brother Amarone! But it doesn’t stop here. There is much more to discover.
"Not Only Amarone!" is an online wine class comprises a comprehensive educational presentation followed by an interactive tasting component focusing on the key grapes and wine appellations of those regions considered part of the Triveneto : the Veneto itself; Trentino-Alto Adige and Fruili Venezia Giulia. Leading red grape varieties grown here include Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, Teroldego, and Pinot Nero. The diversity of wine from this part of Italy is truly exciting to discover! Let Mark guide you through the history, terroir, grape varieties and wine styles of the south. He'll answer all of your questions and then some.
