Get the answers to these questions and more with Mark Shipway during our online wine session – Under the Tuscan Sun. All you have to do is reserve your seat, bring up a bottle, grab a glass, order some cheese and get ready to explore the world of wine from the comfort of home thanks to the power of Zoom.
Session
Join us Thursday March 25th at 4:30 pm or 7:30 pm (PST) on Zoom for “Under the Tuscan Sun!” Join Good Wine Gal, Barb Wild and Vancouver's top wine educator, Mark Shipway to learn about and enjoy red wines of Central Italy. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. A recommended list of wine and cheeses is provided.
Outline
In this online zoom session, Mark leads us through a comprehensive educational presentation about Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and beyond. Discover central Italy and discover the ‘what and why’ of style, quality, taste and above all, price. The presentation is followed by an interactive tasting component where we discuss the wine in our glass.
