90+Wines Highlights the Best of BC Wine SommWine and Good Wine Gal in collaboration with Swirl Wine Store in Yaletown, Vancouver, Canada are highlighting top BC Wines for you! Who is 90+Wines? Barb Wild, DipWSET and Joanne DiGeso, DipWSET are passionate wine professionals here to help you find and enjoy BC wine. Thanks to Jeff Wong at Swirl Wine Store, these wine sleuths are uncovering hidden gems from BC's wine country. It's gotta score... All wines are evaluated on a 100 point scale. The tasting notes are converted to word clouds that reference the key highlights of each wine. The top scoring BC Wines then go into wine packs of 2, 3, 4 and 6 bottles. These packs are posted on 90+Wines and can be ordered online for pick up or delivery. Run with the Pack!There are two themes - Big Bold & Beautiful Reds & BC’s Buzzworthy Wines. For the red wine lover, you’ll find BC’s Big Bold & Beautiful. The description says it all. These BC wines offer big style, bold flavours and beautiful steak worthy and flavourful food pairing experiences. BC’s Buzzworthy Wine offer variety. These collections are mixed wine packs that can include white, rose and/or sparkling wine along with some of our favourite reds. Some are found just off the beaten path showcasing interesting grape varieties, wine styles, and/or renegade Garagiste winemakers. What Are Word Clouds? Offers will be archived so you can search in case you miss an offer. 90+Wines Tasters  Joanne DiGeso, DipWSET Joanne has spent much of her wine life working in swanky places such as the Four Seasons in Whistler and two of the top 50 restaurants of Canada where she worked as a sommelier (Hawksworth Restaurant) and as a wine director of the largest cellar in Western North America (the Bearfoot Bistro). In 2018, Joanne started her own wine business called “SommWine” where she now teaches certified Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) courses, hosts private and public wine tastings and acts as a wine judge (Cornucopia) and wine seminar moderator (Top Drop). She holds a Diploma with WSET, is Certified Wine Specialist with Society of Wine Educators, and Canadian Wine Scholar. Swirl is a local wine store run by Jeff Wong. Swirl carries over 800 styles of BC VQA Wine. Most of the wine offered at Swirl comes from small and medium boutique BC wine producers. You can shop online and with a minimum purchase of $150 or more, get free local delivery within Vancouver. Otherwise a flat rate shipping of $12.00 applies to orders under $100.00. For all other destinations, Swirl uses ATS or Canada Post. Swirl is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 9 pm and located in the heart of Yaletown on Mainland Street next to Starbucks.
